Ronald Corrado
As the third generation owner of Corrado’s, Ronald credits his father (who learned from Ronald’s grandfather) for a career path that has resulted in countless tiling and stonework projects coming to fruition for clients. Ronald’s dad emphasized the importance of maintaining the highest standards at all times and exceeding expectations. When his mentor tragically fell ill with cancer, Ronald worked tirelessly to keep Corrado’s thriving. And when his father sadly passed away, Ronald, just 31 at the time, assumed full responsibility for the business that had become a key part of his family’s legacy.
Since that time, his goal has been to sustain and strengthen the cornerstones of the company’s 80-plus-year success: master craftsmanship, commitment to client service and satisfaction, dedication to ongoing professional development, and cultivation of relationships with industry leaders from all corners of the globe.
In addition to owning and operating one of the Hudson Valley and Tri-State region’s most high-in-demand tile and design businesses, Ronald is a Veteran of the United States Marines. Along with the life lessons imparted by his father, Ronald attributes much of his work ethic, meticulous attention to detail, and sense of responsibility to his experience as a Marine. An interesting tidbit: among many accomplishments during his military service from 1989-1993, Ronald was assigned to the United States Embassy in Moscow when President Mikhail Gorbachev was outed from power (1991).
Ronald grew up in the Hudson Valley, graduating from Franklin Delano Roosevelt High School in 1989 before obtaining an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice and Police Science from Dutchess Community College in 1998.
Ronald and his team at Corrado’s Design Center enjoy meeting and working with people from all backgrounds and walks of life. As a Veteran-Owned Business, they take special pride in their work with Veterans and minorities.
